A little peace

Just northeast of the vibrant Music City in the beautiful lakeside city of Hendersonville we find the stunning equestrian neighborhood of Somerset Downs. Located on what used to be the Kirkpatrick's farm eventually became the McDuffee dairy farm. In 1948 the McDuffee farm had no electricity and was comprised of four separate barns which dotted the landscape of what is now Somerset Downs. One of the original barns will greet you as you enter through the grand entrance on Somerset Downs Boulevard.

Somerset Downs is named after a county in South West England. Somerset Downs' street names are also named after counties and cities located throughout the United Kingdom.

Upon approaching the entryway you are greeted by beautiful stone pillars adorned with the Somerset Downs placards. Long expanses of equestrian fence rows line the borders of this gorgeous piece of property in the Hendersonville countryside.

One of the great things about Somerset Downs is the location. Residents enjoy the local neighborhood amenities as well as the endless fun and adventure that awaits them in nearby Indian Lake Village, shopping at Opry Mills Mall and endless restaurant choices in the area. If this is not enough to entice you, there are many retail shopping destinations, restaurants, taverns, and entertainment venues in the greater Nashville offering your family plenty things to do.
